A partial solar eclipse would be witnessed in parts of the country on January 26th as the moon covers a portion of the sun. The eclipse which will start at 10.27 am IST will however be visible in India only after noon between 2:30 and 3: 30pm.
The eclipse will be visible only from southern parts of India, eastern coast, most of northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
However the northern and western parts of India will not be able to witness the celestial event.
