Imphal, January 20 : Decrying the conduct of Police Commandos in arresting two alleged innocent youths and demanding their immediate release, womenfolk from Nongmaikhong area today charged towards the Chief Minister's bungalow in an attempt to lodge a complaint.
The agitated womenfolk were, however, herded off by the police.
The two youth namely, Salam Sanahanba (35) s/p late Thambalngou and Salam Premjit (25) s/o Rajen, both residents of Nongmaikhong Makha Leikai, have been allegedly arrested by Imphal West District Police Commandos from their respective houses this morning.
